Vidaamuyarchi — 120 crore opening weekend globally for the Ajith starrer!
Ajith Kumar’s VidaaMuyarchi has opened very well at the global box office, amassing 120 crores (approx) in its opening weekend (Feb 6-9th). The film has done good numbers in Tamil Nadu, with its gross being around the 65 crore mark. The film is Ajith’s next film to cross the 100+ crore mark worldwide in a short span of just 4 days, after Valimai and Thunivu.
Vidaa Muyarchi crossed the 50 crore mark in TN on Saturday (in 3 days), becoming the fastest film to cross the mark in 2025 and the 2nd film to do so after Madha Gaja Raja. The film has performed superbly in overseas territories, with the Middle East accounting to $950K, North America accounting to 800K in four days, and Malaysia bringing in 675K in 3 days.
We have to wait and see what more milestones the film will bring home in the upcoming days!
