The clash between sooraarai potru vs Master
Both the films are yet to be certified, so the official release date is not out yet, the films are mostly expected to be released on April 9, since the there is a straight five days holiday.
The distributors are rushing to block theatres for April but there is also a news that Surya’s sooraarai potru will be postponed to avoid clash between the two movies, since the distributors of vijay’s movies are known for blocking mass number of theatres around Tamil Nadu. It would be a slight disadvantage not only for distributors but for the whole movie itself.
There is also movie which are expected to compete in the april from different Industries, In bollywood Akshay Kumar’s sooryovanshi and Ranveer Singh’s “83” a story based on 1983 world cup, which will also have a Tamil dubbed version.
April seems to be a big month in the Kollywood, since there is no major hits in this year, theatres are seem to be much of a vacant space, but from April this seems to be changed by the most awaited movies from the top actors of the Industry Surya’s sooraarai potru and Vijay’s Master.
In Mollywood Malayalaam superstar Mohanlal is starting in a historic epic movie “Marakkar: Arabikadalinte simham”. Topping all of this Hollywood’s most awaited film of the year from James Bond series of films “No Time To Die” is expected to be released on April 9.
Facing all these movies at the arena at the same time will be a challenge for sooraarai potru, so the movie’s release date is more likely to be changed.
